King's Kastle has a variety of dogs that are ready for adoption. These dog's may be available from other rescure organizations and have come here for rehabilitation and improved social skills to allow them a better chance at finding a forever home. King's Kastle is not affiliated with, and does not determine adoption fees for these organizations. We are a rehabilitation, boarding, and socialization center placing our canine clients' best interests before all else. We encourage the adoption of rescued animals, and discourage mass breeding for the purpose of financial profit. If you are seeking to adopt a dog into your family, let us help you find the 'right' fit for your lifestyle.
Some dog's for adoption have "other" circumstances and have been surrendered to King's Kastle in hopes of finding their forever home through us directly. King's Kastle currently has a $125.00 adoption fee for each available dog. If you are in a position that you must surrender your dog, please contact King's Kastle and inquire as to space available for surrendered dogs. If your dog meets our adoption criteria, please understand that we do have fee's for surrendering your dog, and require all surrendered dogs be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and bordetella. All dogs directly availble through King's Kastle, have been through an extensive behavioral assessment, and have had the benefit of intense canine socialization while at the facility.

CHARLIE -(on the right) I've been here at the Kastle for almost a year, with a short time spent in a foster home at a wonderful man's home who let me run and play on his property with other dogs. I'm WONDERFUL with other dogs, and have become really good with most people. Kid's don't bother me, but sometimes there are some men that intimidate and scare me. I'd love to have a chance to prove that I would be a great and loving dog for the right family, so please consider opening your backyard to me! I'm estimated to be about 4 years old, and I'm already neutered. I'm adoptable directly from the Kastle, and my adoption fee is only $125. IF YOU AREN'T ABLE TO ADOPT ME, PERHAPS YOU COULD SPONSOR ME. Call for details.

OSCAR - HI! I'm Oscar, (im the one of the left) and I'm FULL of character! I have been at King's Kastle for some time now, and am available through a Greyhound Rescue agency. I LOVE it here, and wish I could stay forever, but all my friends go home to their human families each night, and so I kind of thought that maybe there something special about that. So now I'm looking for my own family to go home to. I'm still pretty young, about a year and a half. The standard set of vaccinations and medical procedures have already been done.i love to run and play in the big yard with all my friends.(charlie is my bestest friend EVER! (lab on the right)) I'm very bouncy and energetic, some folks around here have nicknamed me "TIGGER" because I'm "bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun fun!!!!!!!!!" I'd do really well with another dog, but would be fine alone if I had the chance to go play regularly. I do get a little too excited sometimes and forget that I'm not supposed to jump up on humans, but I correct quickly. Because I'm so active, I'd probably do better around children who are a little older, perhaps 8 and up. For more information about me, you can call the Kastle directly. I look forward to meeting that special family!

DOUBLE YOUR FUN with these two adorable, entertaining youngsters. Daunte and Dolce, brother and sister Weimers that get along well with all other dogs, and people. Available to be seen and greeted here at King's Kastle, however these two characters are brought to us by the Northern California Weimer Rescue and all applicants will be processed through NCWR.
These two are ready to find their new family.... not able to take two? :( Although these two would prefer to remain together, they are willing to find individual homes as long as their prospective families would consider an ocassional reunion.
Not ready to commit for a double adoption, consider fostering instead. NCWR is always in need of loving homes for dogs in need such as Daunte and Dolce.

Hey there! The name is Oscar. I do have a formal name, but it's pretty long and I prefer the short version. I'm a 4 year old purebred, papered Catahoula. I'm great with other dogs, and love to work, but I haven't found anyone who understands how important that is to me. I know I'm not the only Oscar at the Kastle, but I like to thing I'm the more rugged handsome type, and the other Oscar is more of a joker.
I've discovered that I really need to exercise, and I prefer a human that is familiar with my breed, as I am a focused companion. I'll keep your property safe from intruders, but need you to be clear in teaching me who are friends and who are not.
I'm available through the Kastle. Call and make an appointment to come meet me some time.

Latte : I'm just a very young pup waiting to find my forever home. I have already been neutered, and all my shots are up to date. I can be seen on Saturdays at PETCO with Anderson Valley Rescue. Every other day I can be seen at King's Kastle playing with all my new friends. I'm great with other dogs, but sometimes I get pushy around meal time when other dogs try to eat my share. If you remind me to be tolerant, I will easily back away, but it's hard to remember that sometimes and need your help to teach me how to eat nicely with other dogs around. I'm very playful, and love to play. Perhaps you could come meet me and see if we are a good match. I am available through AVR but you can call the Kastle if you have any questions about me.
